I once took a quiz on Facebook called-Which Golden Girl are you? The result: Blanche. I guess I'll take it as a compliment. At least I wasn't Rose (no offense Betty White. You rock!). Sadly, it was announced today that Rue McClanahan aka, Blanche Deveraux has died at age 76 as a result of a massive stroke. Golden Girls is one of those shows that lives on through countless syndication deals and fans who work third shift.
Lets all pay homage to our favorite sassy, southern cougar with a song:
