As you recall I was super excited about the season 7 kickoff back in June, however, my excitement has simmered as the boys of Entourage are loosing their 'it' factor.
Rumors are rampant on the internet that next summer (which is season 8) will be the last for Vince and his crew. I have to say this is no surprise especially as I talk to other fans of the show who are also less than impressed with the gang.
My fanhood dimmed when Vince was given the role as Nick in the modern big screen version of The Great Gatsby. The movie poster hangs in E's office; but yet we never saw a glimpse of Vince on set. What gives? He actually lands a serious role and we get nothing. Then he digresses and takes some macho action role in a B-flick where he does his own stunts and we are supposed to be impressed. He's never going to get an Oscar.
Five reasons the curtain needs to close:
1. Turtle still doesn't have a day job.
2. Lloyd finally became an agent.
3. Ari is getting closer and closer to a heart attack every episode.
4. E and Sloan are getting hitched and they will live happily ever after.
5. Vince is dating an adult film star.
Enough said. All good HBO shows last between 5 and 8 season.
